Dassault Aviation has approved Hawker Pacific’s Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia facility as an Authorized Service Center (ASC) for Falcon 8X, Falcon 7X, Falcon 2000 EX Easy- and Falcon 900 EX EASy- series aircraft.
Located at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport in Subang, the 36,000 square-foot facility is equipped to provide line maintenance services for both local and transient operators. It is ISO 9001:2008 certified as well as Part 145 Malaysian DCAM approved.
Maintenance approvals from the FAA and EASA are expected by mid-year. In addition to maintenance services, the facility can handle repair and overhaul, retrofits, modifications and upgrades, and accommodate 24/7 AOG (Aircraft On Ground) support, including a Go Team, complete with appropriate tooling and equipment.
As well as ensuring a local support capability for operators based in Malaysia, the agreement will provide an alternate maintenance option for Falcon customers at Hawker Pacific’s Falcon ASC in Singapore.
“Strengthening our global ASC network is vital to Dassault Aviation’s commitment to provide top notch local support for all Falcon customers, as evidenced by recent surveys that place the quality of Dassault support services at the top of the industry,” said Jacques Chauvet, Senior Vice President Worldwide Customer Service. ”And we’re confident that Hawker Pacific’s excellent service record and exemplary safety standards will maximize customer satisfaction for South-East Asian operators.”
