Metrojet Limited has been granted an Air Operator Certificate by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Cayman Islands, marking the establishment of its operational branch, Metrojet SEZC, in the region and a significant milestone in the Company’s strategic expansion.

The Cayman Islands AOC authorises Metrojet SEZC to conduct commercial air transport operations and confirms that the company meets the stringent safety, operational, and professional standards set by the authority. Metrojet SEZC’s first aircraft under the Cayman AOC has been onboarded, and the Company is expecting the second one within the next 12 months.

Mr Dave Yip, Chief Executive Officer of Metrojet Limited and Director of Metrojet SEZC, commented: “Establishing our presence in the Cayman Islands and achieving AOC approval is a key step in our long-term growth strategy. It reflects our commitment to operational excellence and our focus on delivering flexible, high-quality business aviation solutions to clients across the region."

Located in George Town, Cayman Islands, Metrojet SEZC’s new office is now operational and staffed by locally based employee. This presence underscores Metrojet’s dedication to maintaining high standards of business aviation services and regulatory compliance within the region.

Established in 1997 by the Kadoorie Family, Metrojet Limited pioneered business aviation services in Hong Kong and remains one of the foremost safety- and customer-focused business jet operators and maintenance providers in the Asia Pacific region. The Company offers comprehensive aircraft management, maintenance, aviation consultancy and charter services to its growing business aviation clientele, and has been granted the Cayman Islands AOC in 2025.
