Czech Airlines Technics entered into a Base Maintenance Agreement with leading leisure airline Jet2.com. Under the contract, employees of CSAT provide Boeing 737NG aircraft base maintenance checks for UK carrier in facilities at Václav Havel Airport Prague. Czech Airlines Technics has provided one base maintenance check for Jet2.com last summer and work now continues during main maintenance season.

“The new long-term contract includes base maintenance checks and additional maintenance tasks and repairs on Boeing 737NG aircraft provided in CSAT’s facilities located in Prague, Czech Republic,” said Pavel Hales, Chairman of the Board of Directors & CEO of Czech Airlines Technics. “Czech Airlines Technics has provided one base maintenance check for Jet2.com last summer. Based on this positive experience we have built a relationship that resulted in long-term cooperation. We are proud to support Jet2.com and deliver high-quality maintenance services under this contract and beyond,” added Hales.

“As a leading leisure airline we invest in our fleet so that we can continue to deliver first-class efficiency and quality. We are delighted to enter into this agreement with Czech Airlines Technics to support our business,“ stated Chris Hubbard, Jet2.com Director of Engineering & Maintenance.

Last year, Czech Airlines Technics’ employees processed over 120 base maintenance checks on narrow-body Boeing 737, Airbus A320 Family and ATR aircraft. Transavia Airlines, Finnair, Czech Airlines, Smartwings, NEOS and others are among the most important Czech Airlines Technics clients in base maintenance division, which represents more than 50% of CSAT’s revenues. Currently, the operations of Hangar F, launched in the 1960s, support five standard base maintenance lines and a sixth line used for minor maintenance works.
