STTS, a specialist in painting & sealing of airline, military and VIP aircraft, belonging to the French group Finaero, has launched a purpose built paint hangar at Dubai South.
In order to offer its customers greater proximity, STTS is investing in a 34 million USD project that will accommodate a wide body painting bay at the new international airport.
The site will also accommodate an aircraft interior back shop. Indeed, STTS’ sister company AIP, also benefits from renowned expertise, in airline, corporate and VIP cabin refurbishment and completions.
Christophe Cador, president of Finaero and STTS said: “Our group’s vision, throughout STTS and its Finaero sister companies, is to offer customers proximity and quality. The main principle guiding our daily actions - partnering worldwide with our customers - makes Dubai South, thanks to its international airport and its people’s professionalism, a key location for us”.
Khalifa AlZaffin, executive chairman, Dubai Aviation City Corporation said: “The STTS new state-of-the-art facility adds to the aviation and aerospace ecosystem at Dubai South, bringing it closer to its ambition of becoming the only hub outside of North America and Europe to offer a complete ecosystem to the aviation and aerospace industry. We are setting the stage to enable our partners to connect better with a flourishing regional market and, by extension, to the global market.”
