Vector Aerospace, a global independent provider of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, is celebrating the third anniversary of supporting operators in the Asia-Pacific region from its engine MRO facility in Brisbane, Australia.
“Our Brisbane facility has evolved tremendously in the past three years, enjoying unprecedented market share growth,” says Jeff Poirier, President of Vector's Engine Services - Atlantic division. “Australia is a sophisticated aviation market and continues to be an extremely important market for us in terms of its tremendous growth opportunities. With the Brisbane facility, we have taken advantage of these growth opportunities by offering operators throughout the region a variety of services including field service and engine repairs on the Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PT6A, JT15D, PW100, PW300 and PT6T engine series, as well as complete overhaul and test capability for the PT6A.”
“Providing complete customer service remains our number one priority at Vector Aerospace,” adds Poirier. “We look forward to continuing to grow our presence in Australia and surrounding areas through our Brisbane facility over the coming years, further building on the relationships with our valued customers in this region.”
Vector Aerospace purchased the Brisbane facility in 2012, the shop being appointed as a P&WC authorized Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) for the PT6A engine in conjunction with its sale. The acquisition allowed Vector Aerospace to increase its full range of MRO service offerings to existing customers of the Brisbane shop, while also significantly improving the service quality provided by the facility’s experienced workforce to customers throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Operators in the region have also benefited from the support of Vector’s Mobile Repair Team (MRT), which is available to provide on-site repairs at customer locations as well as responsive aircraft on ground (AOG) support.
Vector Aerospace is focused on providing operators with industry-leading engine repair, overhaul and test services from convenient locations strategically situated around the world, reinforcing the company’s philosophy of delivering the industry’s highest standard of customer service.
Vector Aerospace’s Brisbane facility is located at 30 Industry Court, Eagle Farm, Brisbane, QLD, 4009.
