Airbus Helicopters and Thai Aviation Industries have declared extended aftersales helicopter support for military and governmental fleets.

Under this agreement, TAI will continue to be Airbus’ approved provider of HCare support and services for Thailand’s military and government helicopter fleets. HCare services already available to local operators will now include continuing airworthiness management organisation services (CAMO), connected services such as Flight Planner and Aerodata, as well as O-level (organisational) and I-level (intermediate) maintenance services.

Currently covering H125M, H145, H145M, AS365, H155 and H225M helicopters, the new agreement will be extended to Airbus’ helicopters flown by governmental operators, benefitting around 50 helicopters with Airbus’ comprehensive maintenance services.

Air Marshal Anun Chansongserm from Thai Aviation Industries said, “We are happy to have found in Airbus a reliable and trusted partner who shares our vision to build a strong maintenance operation and aftersales support chain in Thailand for our customers’ benefit. We have worked extremely well together over the past two years, and we are looking forward to building a robust aviation ecosystem in the country, drawing from Airbus’ rich technical expertise.”

“This agreement extension underscores the excellent maintenance support provided through our partner, and demonstrates Airbus’ commitment to build a strong local presence in Thailand that brings convenience to our customers,” said Philippe Monteux, Head of Southeast Asia and Pacific of Airbus Helicopters.

“Thailand is an important market for Airbus, of which close to 90% of our helicopters are operated by the military and governmental sectors. It is in our interest to bolster our well-established support environment for our customers, and to improve the operational availability of their fleet, through our successful partnership forged here in Thailand,” he added.

Spanning material management, helicopter maintenance and upgrades, technical support, training and flight operations, as well as connected services, the highly flexible HCare suite of helicopter services offered to Airbus customers ensures that each flight is performed successfully, with the highest levels of safety.
