  • CoLT Prüf und Test GmbH receives ISO certification for meeting the highest quality standards.
  • The test laboratory’s professional quality management fully complies with the SO/IEC 17025 standards.

CoLT Prüf und Test GmbH, a FACC subsidiary with headquarters in St. Martin im Innkreis/Austria, has successfully been audited according to ISO/IEC 17025 and was recently awarded official accreditation by the Federal Ministry for Digital, Business and Enterprise (BMDW) in recognition of its testing expertise. The auditors rated the implemented quality standards as "exemplary".

“Strong customer orientation, clear visions and well-defined goals are key factors for economic success. Successful certification is an important milestone for any company," emphasized Christoph Schöndorfer, Managing Director of CoLT, at the official accreditation ceremony. “This is why we are particularly pleased to have been certified in accordance with the strict ISO/IEC 17025 quality standard. This achievement not only demonstrates that a focus on quality guides our way of thinking and acting throughout the entire testing process - we also view this as an important factor contributing to the continuous expansion of our range of services as a proven technology partner for our customers.”

The Composite Lab & Test Center CoLT is a test facility providing analysis, qualification and certification services for composite materials and components. FACC thus boasts unique "in-house" testing expertise, but also offers this service externally. The service centre, which resulted from a cooperation project between FACC and Techno-Z Ried, possesses one-of-a-kind testing know-how which is of great importance for a wide range of industries. Not only the global players in the international aviation or automotive industry rely on CoLT, the test centre is also an important partner encouraging progress and offering security for companies in the micro and nanoelectronics, textile and sporting goods industries as well as for companies in the Innviertel region. Its customers include well-known companies such as KTM, Greiner Aerospace, EV Group, Thales, Airbus, Boeing and Diehl. The accreditation of the test facility for test procedures complying with standards as confirmed by the accreditation certificate attests to the high level of expertise of its employees and its extensive range of measuring and testing equipment, and is thus another important step towards a promising future.

“In order to ensure compliance with the demanding ISO standards, we have conducted a comprehensive analysis of our work processes and documented them in a quality management manual," explains Marianne Buchinger, Head of Quality Management at CoLT. “It makes the individual work processes within the company more transparent and therefore allows quality to be measured. The implemented quality assurance and quality management system can make a significant contribution to the identification and fulfillment of customer requirements by structuring and optimizing internal processes throughout the entire company.”
