After the unprecedented record of sales of 85 sales signed during the Friedrichshafen Airshow, Tecnam order book receives new orders at Pilot Expo Berlin. Professional Aviation, an Italian ATO based in Ozzano (LIKO), Bologna, signed a Letter of Intention for four (4) P-Mentors and two (2) P2006T, the innovativeI FR two-seater which is Part23 Certified and the famous IFR Part 23 Certified twin engine with retractable gear. Professional Aviation has already a fleet based on Tecnam aircraft: twelve (12) P2008JC CS-VLA and two (2) twin-engine P2006T. With this acquisition of aircraft combination, the academy will increase and speed up, at lower cost and lower emissions, the number of students and their path to ATPL.

The P-MENTOR, the IFR two-seater which made its first appearance this year, was the first, and at the time, the only aircraft showcasing at Pilot Expo 2022. The one showcasing at Pilot Expo is the one for Bartolini Air to be used for the Ryanair mentored programme.

The P-Mentor is the latest design from Tecnam: a IFR single engine two-seat, a simple and sustainable solution to guide student pilots from their first flight up to Instrument Rating, all in one two-seater single piston aircraft: IFR; PBN, RNAV; Variable Pitch, Autopilot, Simulated Retractable Gear Control; BRS.

The entire training syllabus with unprecedented fuel consumption and emissions, further enhancing the renowned profitability of Tecnam-made fleet.

For the first time ever, the extremely fuel efficient and low-emissions Rotax 912iSc3 becomes the heart of a full IFR-approved aircraft, coupled with an MT constant speed propeller.

The P2006T offers unbeatable value and innovative design with a modern Garmin avionics suite, integrating all primary flight, navigation, communication and terrain data on two high-definition LCDs. The aircraft is also equipped with an S-Tec 55x high-performance, two-axis autopilot, with advanced features.

Fitted with two Rotax 912S3 engines, the Tecnam P2006T exhibits remarkable fuel savings and can be operated on AVGAS and MOGAS 95 octane fuel, leading to huge cost savings, offering the best training for Multi Engine, Variable Pitch and Retractable Landing Gear ratings.

The success of the P-Mentor and of the Tecnam FTO solutions at Pilot Expo is due in part to Tecnam’s strategy to offer student pilots the most modern training aircraft which provide a complete solution from ab-initio to a multi-engine rating. Choosing a Tecnam fleet solution for training is also a great deal for the environment. Recent study shows that flight schools operating with TECNAM single and twin-engine fleet can reduce emissions by up to 60%: 10 tons of CO2 for each student by the time they receive their Commercial Pilot License. Introducing the P-Mentor coupled with a P2006T, is a real sustainable and profitable solution for any modern flight school.

“Continuing to grow up out international cadet program and the size of our fleet we couldn’t avoid choosing the P-Mentor and the P2006T again. The P-Mentor is a new paradigm in flight training, increasing efficiency and quality of training, and, of course, it is a Tecnam.”  Says Professional Aviation’s Accountable Manager, Head of Training Vito Preti

“Again, Tecnam confirms its right strategy for training solutions. Pilot Expo is a wonderful show where to meet all best training organisation in the world.”  Says Tecnam’s Chief Sales Officer, Walter Da Costa.
