Equiom has appointed Aidan Davin their new Managing Director.
Davin has served as Equiom’s Group Client Services Director for the past two years but steps into his new role on 1st October 2015.
Davin said: “I am looking forward to taking up the position of Managing Director at Equiom (Isle of Man) Limited. Paul has done a fabulous job and leaves the business in great shape. I have thoroughly enjoyed my wider Group role and involvement in the growth of the business in other jurisdictions over the last two years, but I am now looking forward to again focusing my energies on the team and our clients here in the Isle of Man”.
Davin replaces Paul Seaward who will retire on 31 December 2015, continuing to work as Non-Executive Chairman from 1 January 2016. Seaward has been Managing Director since 2013 following Equiom’s acquisition of West Corporation Limited.
Seaward said: “Having recently celebrated my 37-year anniversary with the business (albeit the name has changed over the years), I feel grateful that I have enjoyed such a challenging and fulfilling career and have had the pleasure of working with some incredibly inspiring and driven people. I am looking forward to continuing my involvement with Equiom through my Non-Executive role”.
Equiom Global Chief Executive Officer, Sheila Dean, said: “I would like to thank Paul for his hard work, enthusiasm and dedication to Equiom and I am delighted that he will continue to be involved with the business in a Non-Executive capacity. I would also like to formally congratulate Aidan on his appointment. Having been an active member of the Equiom (Isle of Man) Limited Board for the past seven years, he certainly has the knowledge and experience to continue to drive the business forward and, most importantly, to ensure that Equiom’s exceptionally high levels of client service are maintained throughout the transition and into the future.”
