And in that fashion, Fergie and her husband Josh Duhamel, 42, appeared to take inspiration from aviation when they celebrated their son Axl's second birthday at the Chin Chin restaurant in Los Angeles' Brentwood area.
On Saturday, the couple were spotted at the eatery with their little one, who wore a pilot's jumpsuit and clutched a paper airplane.

Fergie, 40, wore her honey blonde locks down in loose waves, and she also donned charcoal hued shorts that highlighted her lean legs and a pair of black lace-up ankle boots.
The Fergalicious hit-maker additionally wore circular sunglasses.

Her husband was also seen doting on their son while donning a large pair of neon orange sunglasses over his hat, as well as goggles looped around his neck.
That same day, Fergie shared a glimpse of their festivities on Instagram.
In the caption of a photo of her son wearing mirror tint sunglasses, the songbird wrote, 'happy 2nd bday to my little maverick axl jack duhamel #imtwofoo.'
