Jet Aviation is pleased to announce the appointment of Hakan Tin as managing director of its Vienna operation, effective March 1, 2017.

Tin has served as Sales Director in Vienna since September 2015.  In his new role with the company, Tin is responsible for overseeing the company’s operations in Vienna, and reports directly to Stefan Benz, Jet Aviation’s senior vice president of operations for EMEA and Asia.

Tin began his aviation career more than 25 years ago as a passenger handling agent with Lufthansa German Airlines in Vienna, going on to serve in a number of management roles at Lufthansa. In 2003, he became Head of Sales & Ground Operations and moved to the Upper Volga Region in Russia. He later served the company for another 5 years as Managing Director in Azerbaijan & Turkmenistan. Tin returned to Vienna in 2012 as Head of Sales with Jet Alliance, where he remained until joining Jet Aviation in September 2015.  He holds a degree in Political Sciences from Bosporus University in Istanbul, Turkey, and numerous airline certificates from Lufthansa Business School.

“Hakan has a deep understanding of Jet Aviation’s operations in Vienna and has developed good working relationships with our client base,” says Stefan Benz, senior vice president, EMEA and Asia. “He has demonstrated a keen customer focus and I have every confidence in his ability to continue growing service capabilities for the benefit of our clients.”
