AviationCV.com, a global provider of aviation specialist resourcing solutions for aviation industry players, has signed a cooperation agreement with China Airlines (CAL), the flag carrier and largest airline of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Under the agreement, AviationCV.com together with the Taiwanese carrier will offer new job opportunities for pilots with various Airbus and Boeing types.
Based in Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, China Airlines operates a fleet of over 90 passenger and cargo airplanes with additional 16 aircraft on order. In addition, the company controls a low-cost carrier Tigerair Taiwan and a regional carrier Mandarin Airlines. Both airlines operate additional 15 aircraft with almost a dozen of additional airplanes on order.
“China Airlines is a fast growing and dynamic carrier with a clear vision of their future development. Under its fleet renewal and expansion plan, soon the company will introduce to its fleet new Airbus A350s and Boeing 737-800s – all of which will require extra crew. Moreover, the carrier seeks for additional PICs and FOs for its current fleet of Airbus A330, A340 as well as Boeing 777 and 747 aircraft,” comments Skaiste Knyzaite, the CEO of AviationCV.com. “We are very glad to support China Airlines with attracting new Captains and First Officers to its team. We have already planned, amongst other, several road-shows in Russia and Latin America during which we will present the carrier’s career opportunities and share what it is like to work and live in a vibrant city of Taipei.”
All the pilots selected and screened by AviationCV.com as well as approved by the Taiwanese carrier will be offered a 3-years long contract with an opportunity to prolong it upon successful cooperation. In order to provide the pilots with favourable conditions of visiting home more often, they will be offered up to 8 consecutive days off per month, depending on the agreement.
