Japan Airlines, a member of the Oneworld alliance, began the gradual deployment of its new Airbus A350-1000 on its Paris (CDG) - Tokyo Haneda (HND) flights (JL046/JL045), offering customers an ever higher level of on-board comfort and a tailor-made experience. The airline marked the occasion with a special celebration at Terminal 2E of Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) airport, to the delight of its passengers.

Mr. Inoue, Head of Ground Operations, commented: "At Japan Airlines, we continually strive to offer our customers the best possible service through a comfortable travel experience. The introduction of this new aircraft is an important step towards achieving this goal."

JAL's fourth international route, with the A350-1000, allows a greater number of international customers to experience the airline's latest cabin interiors and seating, with a
four-class configuration. To enhance customer satisfaction and commit to a more sustainable future, JAL is gradually replacing its fleet of Boeing 777-300ERs with Airbus A350-1000s, combining comfort and environmental performance. Japan Airlines has already taken delivery of nine (9) of the 13 A350-1000s ordered and is committed to making the transition to more advanced and environmentally friendly aircraft.

A350-1000 cabin highlights

JAL First Class (six suites) - JAL's largest and most comfortable personal space at this day offers six fully private suites with sliding doors. Each suite features a large
adjustable sofa that converts to a single or double bed. Speakers integrated into the headrest fill the space with high-quality sound, and the 43-inch 4K personal screen is one of the largest in its class, offering guests a cinema-like experience.

JAL Business Class (54 suites) - For the first time, JAL has introduced fully private areas in its Business Class with the introduction of the A350-1000. Behind each sliding door is a fully reclining seat with pressure-distributing cushions and a headrest that lifts up to make it easier to watch a film on the large 24-inch screen, even when reclined.

Premium Economy JAL (24 seats) - The new seat design features larger partitions for greater privacy, and the seat's “FIXBACK” allows easy reclining. Each
leg rest automatically lifts to a horizontal position for greater comfort on long flights, and the new 16-inch 4K screen is 1.3 times larger than previous models from the airline.

Economy JAL (155 seats) - The new seats feature an adjustable recline that is preset to an angle to offer passengers a comfortable experience from the moment they arrive at their seat. Entertainment can be enjoyed on 13-inch 4K personal screens, which are the largest offered in Economy JAL class, and the system features Bluetooth connectivity.
