Sunclass Airlines and Lufthansa Technik have signed a contract to provide Total Component Support for its current and future Airbus A321neo and A330neo fleets. In addition, the existing component support agreement for the Airbus A321ceo fleet has been extended. Both contracts will run until January 2030, covering the provision of parts from Lufthansa Technik’s extensive material pool, comprehensive MRO and logistics services as well as an exclusive homebase stock at Sunclass’ main hub at Copenhagen Airport.
Lufthansa Technik has already been supporting Sunclass Airlines for several years: In addition to the existing component service contract for the A320ceo, Sunclass benefits from consumable & expendables services, base maintenance services and AVIATAR digital Health Management and Event Analytics solutions.
Michael Tankmar, Technical Director at Sunclass Airlines, commented: “To meet our customers’ expectations and our own ambitious goals, Sunclass Airlines is constantly striving to optimize its operations. Through the proven reliability of our partnership with Lufthansa Technik, we continue to focus on improving and maximizing the efficiency of our technical operations by benefiting from our partner’s experienced and innovative know-how for our current and future aircraft types in our fleet.”
ens Henningsen, Senior Sales Executive for Denmark at Lufthansa Technik said: “We are very pleased to further expand our cooperation with Sunclass Airlines. The continued trust in us shows that our modern component service portfolio offers real added value by ensuring the best possible component availability. We look forward to the continued cooperation with Sunclass and are proud to further strengthen Lufthansa Technik’s position as the leading MRO provider in Scandinavia,” added Daniel Hepworth, Senior Director Corporate Sales Europe at Lufthansa Technik.
