Zhejiang Loong Air (GJ), a regional carrier based in Hangzhou, has filed an application to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for launching an international all-cargo service from Zhengzhou to Vladivostok, Russia on January 11, 2016.
Pending government approval, Loong Air will operate the Zhengzhou-Vladivostok cargo service on daily basis starting January 11, using Boeing 737-300F, according to an announcement released Monday on the website of the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).
Originally a cargo airline with one 737-300F, the Hangzhou-based carrier was approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China to start domestic passenger services in 2013.
The Air Transportation Department of CAAC is soliciting public comments on the application until December 2, 2015.
