Delta TechOps, Delta Air Lines’ maintenance division and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) provider business, is extending its relationship with Virgin Atlantic to include a new three-year agreement to provide exclusive MRO services. Under the new agreement, Delta TechOps will provide airframe maintenance support, including aircraft modifications and C-Checks, for Virgin Atlantic’s fleet of 10 Airbus A330 aircraft at Delta TechOps’ A330 Center of Excellence in MSP.

“Delta TechOps’ expertise and commitment to excellence make them the natural choice to handle our aircraft maintenance needs and look forward to continue working with their engineering teams now and in the future,” said Kevin Dudley, Vice President - Aircraft Maintenance.

Supporting the largest operator of A330 aircraft in North America, as well as its A330 MRO customers, Delta TechOps’ A330 Center of Excellence offers industry-leading turnaround time and one-stop MRO infrastructure. With FAA and EASA certification, hangar capacity for 7 narrow-body and 3 wide-body aircraft, back shop and administrative support, the 350,000-sq. ft. center helps aviation companies maximize airtime and operational budgets.

“Delta TechOps has always been committed to exceptional performance,” said Jack Arehart, President of MRO Services at Delta TechOps. “With outstanding technicians, expanded Airbus component maintenance capabilities and great value for our customers, our A330 Center of Excellence is uniquely poised to deliver high quality, fast turnaround and service that exceeds our customers’ expectations. We look forward to delivering these services to Virgin Atlantic and continuing to build our relationship.
