SR Technics, a world leading MRO service provider, is pleased to announce the opening of its new Manchester Line Station. The new operations, which are part of a larger growth strategy in Line Maintenance, started already in November 2017 and are off to an excellent start, having received visits by several prospective customers. In addition, the station is fully EASA-approved.
The station’s initial capability covers the Airbus A330 and the Boeing 787. The new SR Technics line station is the first to offer Boeing 787 services in the UK and is expected to add other aircraft types, like the Airbus A350 and other standard Airbus and Boeing aircraft types, in the near future.
Jakob Straub, Head of Aircraft Services & Line Maintenance, was excited about the prospects for the new station. “Our new operations strengthen the SR Technics line maintenance network and help us grow our business,” said Jakob Straub. “Thanks go to the local teams in the UK and in Zurich that both put in six months of hard work to make this a reality.”
