EHang CEO Huazhi Hu welcomed U.S. Senator Steve Daines and his delegation to its Guangzhou headquarters on August 29, 2026. The delegation included Geng Shuang, Vice President of the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs; Pauline Kao, U.S. Consul General in Guangzhou; as well as senior officials from the Guangdong Provincial Foreign Affairs Office, the Guangzhou Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, and the Guangzhou Development District.
